Data deletion
What we hold when you connect Facebook or Instagram
Your Facebook user ID; an encrypted access token for your Facebook account and one for the Page you chose; the Page's name, ID and picture URL and, if you chose it, the linked Instagram account's username, ID and picture URL; and the posts Neybors publishes for you (caption, media links, IDs and permalinks, and their status). While you are connecting, the list of Pages you granted (names, IDs, picture URLs, linked Instagram accounts) is kept for at most 30 minutes so you can choose one, then deleted.
If you connected through another service that uses Neybors to publish for you, we share with that service whether you are connected, the Page and account names, and each post's status and link. We never share your access tokens.
How to delete it
- In the app you connected from: choose Disconnect for Facebook & Instagram (usually under Settings). We revoke our access and delete the stored tokens immediately.
- From Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), select Neybors, choose Remove, and request deletion. We delete the data automatically and give you a confirmation code you can check on this page.
- By email: write to [email protected] with the name of the Facebook Page you connected. You don't need a Neybors account.
Posts already published stay on your Page and Instagram account; delete them there if you want them gone.
